They do require everyone who throws to wear closed-toed shoes. In the winter ,recommend you make sure to wear layers because it gets a little cold, but other than that just wear something comfortable.
They do allow kids to participate (at this location)provided they can throw the axe in a safe manner and their guardian or parent is present.
